He nods to the direction of the exit, which is being blocked by a bunch of security guards. You could probably hear the pounding of fists from outside, since crazy fangirls want to get in and see their idols. ]
The guys said they're offering everybody a ride home, so we should be safe.
[ These guys are also the ones responsible for the soul stealing, but... kanyeshrugs. ]
I wouldn't want to try and walk back to the residential district. It's like a convention out there.
[ fangirls, man. they're just like titans. they'll eat you alive, only to barf you back up to make room for the next guy. like an endless cycle of metaphorical cannibalism... it is only metaphorical in this scenario, right? but no, he definitely would not want to be at a convention. aside from the very same reason, they also tend to smell pretty bad.
not that he would know any of these things, of course. even when you've essentially devoted your life to uncovering the truth behind your own world, sometimes ignorance is still bliss.
no longer burdened by the mail of a thousand adoring fans, he pushes himself up from the table, eyeing security closely. ]
As long as they don't try to pull that shit again.
[ but hey, if they do? no big deal. he's already smashed a few of those cameras. ]
[ Honestly, Tadashi would rather handle the screaming rabid fans over the security since the security seems more dangerous??? Girls can just grab you and tear off your clothing, but the security (IF THEY EVEN ARE SECURITY) could kill them. . . probably. And Tadashi would die again. Once is definitely enough for him. It just doesn't look like those guys would take no for an answer, so he follows them, looking back at Levi every now and then to make sure he's still there. Eventually, they're led to a car that drives them to the residential district.
On the road, Tadashi points to a couple of buildings and talks about what they are, and what you'd find in it. Nothing unusual (so far): convenience stores, tech shops, what have you. He doesn't have to give Levi a convenient tour or anything, but hey, if he can make somebody's stay here easier, then he'll do what he can. ]
And at the end of that street is where you'd find the metro station. The trains are fast and convenient when you want to go around the city.
[ oh, hell no. you're not dying again, Tadashi. especially not with this asshole following you around. plus, you're carrying an axe. don't wanna have to use it against people? no problem. just hand it to him and he'll assume that particular burden.
speaking of cars, Tadashi will probably notice that Levi is completely dumbfounded by their sheer existence. back home, they had horses. and carriages pulled by horses. the technology present in this place in general is absolutely astounding to him, but the concept of fast, safe transportation is especially amazing. he's not the type of person who likes to draw extra attention to himself, but it's hard for him to pretend not to be very curious about the vehicle they're riding in. for a techie genius type like Tadashi, it probably looks pretty silly.
it takes him an extra few seconds to realize Tadashi's pointing out yet another extremely advanced form of transportation to him because he's still pretty wrapped up in investigating the one they're already in. ]
[ it's hard to pay a lot of attention to the outside when the thing you're sitting in itself is fucking incredible. he'll have plenty of time to explore on his own, anyway. by himself. which is usually what he would prefer.
not that Tadashi's not a good dude. all things considered, he is satisfied with his care.
but he hasn't spent a lot of time messing with the CereVice yet, either, so the look he gives Tadashi's as it lights up with a pretty train picture is just as mystified. really, he should probably just turn his brain off for awhile. this shit is insanely complicated, and he'll probably never understand most of it. good thing he doesn't need to understand it to benefit from it, though, right? ]

Trains?

They're like a group of cars that move together.
[ Probably not a good explanation, though, especially when the guy looks astounded to even be in a car.
He takes out his CereVice, though, and does a quick Google search. Once he's found an image he likes, he shows it to Levi. ]
Like this one. This one runs on charcoal, I'm guessing, but the ones here run on electricity now.
