I ate...The bugs on my plant. [The strange cat-like creature held up a bag. A bag enchanted with a storage spell if Levi could tell. It had all of the things the fae had laid claim to.]
What time is it? [Even before he's answered she was grabbing her watch, trying to check. Squinting at it.]
[ he's just. confirming. lord almighty. he briefly eyes the bag (thanks, cat thing) but he's a lot more concerned with getting Mikasa home than the specifics of this... unfortunate situation. ]
[Slowly nodding, at what, she didn't clarify? One chitin covered hand grabbing the couch, nearly yanking it off. But it holds and she pulls herself up to sit. Legs swinging out, look out for those Levi. Because she makes no attempt to not hit him.]
I think so... [And she's up, she's wobbling but she's up.]
And she's up then teetering to the side slightly, stumbling, almost like she was drunk. After nearly going down, she's pulling a sour face, nose wrinkling and grabbing him. Hand bunching up the shoulder fabric of his shirt as she rested her weight...
The cat thing was clambering up before she'd even answered. Not that she does answer.]
...Are you wearing...Those heeled shoes?
[Because he'd have to be, she's not gotten shorter again. Nope.]
[ you know what, never mind. she probably doesn't even know what she's saying anymore. except that doesn't explain why she's asking in the first place... ]
You're bigger...[It's grouchy. How dare he, not being as much of a runt anymore. Then denying it. HMPh- But she plods along, nearly tripping over the step on the way out the house as they move out into the night and back for what passed as home.
Mikasa pauses as they got to the end of the garden. Large black eyes looking up at the sky, small flecks where the stars reflected back.] It's dark. [Yes. And the strange cat-like thing...shrugged?]
[ it's fine, he would have caught her if she'd tripped. he's used to being whatever their world's equivalent to a designated driver is called. he can't get drunk, but he's beginning to think that has nothing to do with their mutual bloodline. ]
What? No I'm not.
[ he'll file that under Things No One Has Ever Said to Him Ever. go home, Mikasa, you're drunk.
but he immediately whirls around (to the extent he can without knocking Mikasa over) upon hearing that... voice. was that a voice?? ]
well, that's a little unsettling, to say the least. ]
You did hear it though, right? Was that even a person?
[ he... briefly eyes the cat. it's a weird-ass cat, okay, maybe it has an equally weird voice? somehow it'd still be less disturbing than if it had come from seemingly no one. ]
I...[It's slow, slurred even. Then she gives a nod, almost headbutting him.] I heard a noise, it sounded like there was words.
[Maybe?? She'd heard maybe one or two words in the garbled mess. But she was going, her head flopping down and...Letting out a soft snore. She's out again. Slumping against him as he dragged her along.
The cat-thing? That just kept staring at Levi. The toes on it's feet curling to grasp the fabric of Mikasa's shirt, hold it's self on as she shifted. ]
[ ...oh. she's out, isn't she? regardless of whatever weird shit is going on with that voice, he thinks it's in everyone's best interest if they just get the hell out of there and put Mikasa to bed.
so rather than literally dragging her all the way home, he shifts her weight to one side and hooks his other arm under her knees (the cat can come too). much easier, though she'd undoubtedly be pissed off if she was awake.
[Mikasa would murder him and then herself so no one would know that he'd had to carry her home. Instead of just...making sure she didn't fall into the river or something.
At the movement, the cat shifted. At first to his shoulder. Then crawling down to curl up on the fae's stomach. All the while, the thing didn't take it's hollow eyes off of him. Little fuzzy ears giving a flicker.
Also Levi. Be careful of her head. She may or may not dribble on him if her cheek was smushed too long.]

What did you eat? Did someone give it to you?
[ if someone drugged her, they are about to have a very bad time. ]

I think so... [And she's up, she's wobbling but she's up.]
no subject
...well. maybe. ]
Let's get you home, then. Hold onto me if you need to.
[ oh, right. cat thing. he spares it another glance before looking back to make sure she hasn't tipped over. ]
Uh. Is... that coming?

The 'cat's more hollow, empty eyes also stared at him. Tilting it's head at the same time as the fae.]
