The dreams we have aren’t dreams— I think they’re memories. Someone saw the future and shares it with us. he pushes himself up into a standing position slowly, but evidently not slowly enough—he manages to catch himself before staggering, but he's just going to... stand still. for a sec. and maybe rub his face a bit because holy shit this is embarrassing. ]

[ no hesitation there whatsoever. he could have fallen flat on his goddamn face and he still would have insisted everything was fine. winding up in a state like this because of something as insanely stupid as "some kind of magic shit idk" is pretty embarrassing for him.
he's not invincible, but it's usually a lot more difficult to knock him down. magic is stupid. ]
