Balance is really, really important. It takes a lot of core strength to use these things well. If you can't hold your balance, you'll end up face down in the dirt or hanging upside down in a tree. Or dead.

[ words of encouragement! he's just hovering as close-by as possible without making it weird, ready to grab him if he ends up pitching forward or backward. it happens a lot in the beginning. it definitely happened to him, what with having to teach himself how to use it and all.
[ he's seen levi use his 3dmg before so he puts most of his weight below and thrusts forward a bit until he's up in the air. he actually manages to balance himself in between the wires for a split second. ]

[ plus, he's very quick, so if he needed to he could totally catch Tadashi princess-style. and then put him down immediately, because that would be Weird.
