[They appreciate you, Levi Last-Name-Withheld. But he frowns at the device for a moment before he sighs and switches from text to a voice call.]
Texting the whole thing would take a while. Did you get a chance to see what happened to the robots the longer they were activated, or do I need to explain that part, too?
Chaotic's a good word for it. Mine decided that it wanted to be better than me, but since I don't exactly go around murdering people it went around telling people all of the worst things possible. [A beat.] You know, like how Callaghan deserved to live since Tadashi was stupid enough to run into the building and purposefully leave everyone behind. It tried holding my friend Mary hostage too before she fr--[Whoops, no.]--figured out how to stop it.
Baymax's robot was a little easier since he just stole his arm armor and blew a bunch of holes in buildings trying to destroy people and draw me out of hiding. Friend of mine helped me deflate him. The whole thing was kind of a mess, but it was still pretty good for my notes.
Yeah, I know that now. But...you know. Wanted to try and solve it myself first. [As usual.] I'm the one who activated the thing, I needed to be the one to take it out.
Not physically at least. My robot wasn't that into it and Baymax's was hoping the buildings would collapse and do his dirty work for him. That didn't work before we popped him, too. [He sighs in response.] Is there anything that happens in this colony that doesn't wind up with people hurt somehow?
[ he doesn't know how to answer that question. "no," probably, but what's the use of complaining about it over the network? one of these days he's going to go knock on their door and punch the shit out of whoever answers, though. one day... ]
"Not physically?" What's that mean?
[ he knows what it means on the surface, but he's hoping this didn't somehow fuck these two up worse than they already were. ]
Man, what do you think? [It's a rueful little quip, followed by a sigh.] On the bright side I don't think it messed him up too much once he realized it wasn't me saying everything. Still. They weren't exactly things I ever wanted him to think about.
But you know Tadashi. [A shrug.] If it actually bothered him he won't say so. It probably bugged me more than it bugged him.
[ he doesn't mean to trivialize any attempts Hiro's already made, but... well, there aren't that many other ways for him to help. Tadashi's his best friend, so he's not just going to just let this go.
...unless that's what Tadashi wants, of course. which is highly likely. sigh. ]
[Trivialize away, Levi. Hiro has a lot of conflicting feelings on just about everything with his older brother lately.]
If you think that'll help, sure. I think maybe it's just something I should leave alone for now anyway. We haven't really talked about it and things seem normal enough. [Or as normal as it can get with the two of them.] But he'd probably like to hear from you anyway. You're pretty much his best friend in this stupid place.
Pretty mind-blowing huh? [He's trying not to sound amused but...he's also kind of happy for it.] I mean I still don't really get how people decide people are best friends, but this is close enough. Trust me.

I know that it got... chaotic. Nothing specific, since I got rid of mine early on.
[ for some definition of "got rid of." ]

[ and by "all the time" he means "more than other people," of which there are like... one. maybe two. possibly zero. it still totally counts. ]

I should go. I've still got a lot of damage repair to cover. I'll catch you later?
