[ and he turns to head back in the direction of his apartment. wherever he was going before is clearly not as important as the disposal of this goddamn robot. brb!! ]
[ it takes him a little longer to come back. the reason should become clear once he's back in sight, though: in addition to the robot, he's also equipped himself with some kind of clunky, strappy contraption. it's the type of thing that looks like it'd take a solid half-hour just to put on.
[Ah, that must've been what taken him so long. At the same time? It looks impressive. This is probably what he's going to use to scale the walls for them to throw the robots over.]
[ he motions for her to follow him towards the wall. sure, he could Spider-man his way over there a lot faster than walking, but a) property damage is expensive, and b) he's not that rude.
[And off they go, with her following after him. At least he's patient with her! Which is more than she can ever ask for. She should know this is an honour when it concerns him.
So when they reach the wall, she never knew that it was much slower than he probably is used to.]
[ eh, no big deal. if he really wanted to zip around the city leaving only steam and gratuitous property damage in his wake, he could. but they've got these crazy things called trains here that can go even faster than he can. plus he gets a lot fewer weird looks on the train.
at the wall, he stops and sets his own robot-box down, turning to her instead. ]
Here, I can do yours first. That way you can leave if you want.
[ because why would she want to spend any more time with him than necessary?? friendship, how the fuck does it work. ]
[That's true, even though she would definitely like to see him zip around some day. It's not like this is something the modern world has either, so she's never really seen it.
She stands up the robot, about to hand hers to him.]
Even if you do mine first, I still will wait for you.
[Said so firmly, because he's helped her this much, she just can't leave him! FRIENDSHIP, LEVI.]
[ he squints at her a little, seemingly mystified that anyone would want to stay and hang out with him. it's not suspicion, it's just... a lack of social skills.
he'll figure it out one of these days. ]
...If you say so.
[ with that, he grabs her robot in one arm and fires an anchor up into the wall with the other. up we go! ]
[ hey look, he has friends, it's just that they're mostly dead. why would you want to be his friend. only suffering awaits down that path.
anyway, once he's made it to the top of the wall, he holds up her robot as if making some kind of weird demonstration. slowly, he moves it from hovering over her side of the wall to the opposite side, and then lets it go. a few seconds later it makes a satisfying 'clunk' noise as it hits the ground, and he casually steps off the edge back into the safe side, descending gradually with the help of the 3DMG. when he lands back on the ground, he grabs his own robot. ]

I can get up the wall pretty easily. It'd take two trips, but I could just toss both of them over it from there.
[ it'll be fun!! ]
no subject
Alright, that sounds like a good plan! I will help carry.
[These two.]
no subject
Great. I'll grab mine and meet you back here.
[ and he turns to head back in the direction of his apartment. wherever he was going before is clearly not as important as the disposal of this goddamn robot. brb!! ]
no subject
Alright, I will see you soon.
[And she goes to do the same! Next minute, she'll be seen hauling her robot along, making sure to keep the button way out of reach.]
no subject
fortunately, he's had plenty of practice. ]
Ready?
no subject
I'm ready!
no subject
Good. Let's go, then.
[ he motions for her to follow him towards the wall. sure, he could Spider-man his way over there a lot faster than walking, but a) property damage is expensive, and b) he's not that rude.
...maybe if it was someone he didn't like. ]

She sticks by him, at least as close as she can safely. She shields her eyes as she watches him go!]
