Intuition can be incredibly helpful, can't it? There's some expression about not examining a gift too closely for flaws, but in this case, an exception was certainly worth it.

And robots, of all things. How unusual.

That definitely doesn't apply to gifts from CERES. They can keep giving them out and I'll keep throwing them away.

They're not. Obviously you're free to make your own judgments, but I've been here awhile and I haven't seen any reason to trust them yet.

...And the robots aren't really that unusual. CERES has been pulling stupid shit with robots since the day I got here. Probably the first time they've handed them out to us, though.

Given the way things have gone so far, I doubt that a reason to put my faith in them will show up anytime soon anyway. Whether they're offering handouts or not, I'll keep my guard up.
