Okay. I'd say Star is pretty much at max hearts at this point. You can tell because he's still super protective of her, but at the same time he doesn't want to cockblock her from trying to do stuff (like channeling dangerous shit) because he knows she feels like she can't help and it feels bad, man. So it's a balance between not wanting any harm to come to her and also wanting to let her make her own decisions. He doesn't think she's stupid at all, just... kinda reckless... but he also knows she's a teenage girl. And part of the reason he is okay with letting her do what she thinks is best is because he knows if something terrible does happen, he can be there to at least try to shut it down. And so would Blade, and so would 75% of the game probably, so what's the worst that could happen, right??
Basically she's the closest he'll ever get to family and he kinda knows that, so he doesn't want to fuck it up too bad.
As for other teams!! This oughta prove how much I suck (and how much he sucks) because lol making friends on other teams. Rats: Doesn't know anyone! Cows: Avoid due to Cross, though he hasn't had much contact with the others Dawon: Seems aight, Nightshade's old team, Lace is pretty legit Omelettes: Despite the presence of Liter this team is ok. He knows most of them somehow?? How did this happen. He feels bad for them and their shit-tier luck, but who doesn't at this point. Also he feels bad for Castling because he saw his boyfriend's dick (it wasn't okay). Tiamat: Only really knows Clover but she definitely gets his approval. Takshaka: Somehow... doesn't really know anyone?? Except for the new one who punched Yato, which was kind of funny. The tank part was less funny. Epona: supremacy Amalthea: He knows... Rook and Viva and they are "friends," but he also heard a thing about winning games regardless of the cost and that kinda didn't sit well with him. He doesn't know where it came from, though, and he assumed it wasn't either of them, so whatever. Vanara: Doesn't really know anyone! Alectryon: Ha ha, Galen's old team... and now Yato's sword child's team. He hasn't really talked to any of the others, but Yukine seems like a good kid. Mostly.
