A brief memory of his original special ops squad. He, Eren, and four others are headed on horseback toward a run-down castle—turns out it's going to be their home base while they're observing Eren. As they reach the building, it becomes clear that it is, indeed, run-down. Levi is very displeased by this, and orders them to fix it up immediately. A little while later, Eren approaches Levi to say he finished his work and also to ask where he's supposed to sleep. Levi tells him he's to sleep in the basement, so he'll be underground should his titan power go awry. It was part of the deal when they took custody of Eren. Levi leaves to check Eren's cleaning upstairs, and comes back shortly after to tell Eren he did a horrible job and needs to start over.
